four BJP workers -
including Misra's driver.

Oct 4, Pakistani Taliban,
known as TTP or Tehreek-
e-Taliban Pakistan had
announced a three week
ceasefire on Friday with
the Pakistan government
but has since backtracked
on the declaration.
It targeted Pakistan
armed forces in a vehicle
travelling near the
Afghan border killing four
soldiers and one
policeman. Claiming
responsibility for the
attack it said it had target
a raiding party.
Prime minister Imran
Khan had said earlier that
their government was in
talks with TTP to work
out a reconciliation deal.
However, a TTP
spokesperson
Muhammad Khurasani
denied it saying the
militant outfit does not
seek a peace agreement
with Pakistan.
According to Pakstan
Today the spokesperson
also urged TTP fighters to
continue their attacks on
the Pakistan armed
forces wherever they are.
He claimed the TTP was
an organized movement,
cohesive and devoid of

Oct 4, hearing a plea filed
by a Noida resident
against the road blockade
by farmer groups the
Supreme Court (SC)
issued a notice to 40 farm
leaders and groups,
impleading them in the
case as respondents. The
Haryana government had
urged the court to do so
after a committee it set
up to hold talks failed as
farmer leaders refused to
participate. Rakesh Tikait,
Yogendra Yadav, Darshan
Pal, Gurnam Singh are
among those impleaded.
On Sep 30, the top court
had questioned how long
highways could be
blocked. It reasoned the
problem could either be
solved through a judicial
forum or parliamentary
debate. It then asked the
Centre what steps were
taken to remove the
blocks. The Centre had
clarified it would not
backtrack on the farm
laws. The matter is

authorities demolished
an illegal mosque that
had stood since 2001
when during the
construction of the dam,
a temporary mosque
had been erected for
some workers. The
mosque was not
removed on completion
of construction.
OpIndia had reported
that locals and Hindu
organizations had rallied
to remove the illicit
structure. The state
minority commission
tried to delay the
removal after the
mosque administration
approached it, but the
issue trended on social
media after the OpIndia
report and the national
attention it got, led to

entities are illegal, past
record shows much of it
could be and the IT
department tweeted

from angry locals the

people, including
women.
Most of the conversion
targets were ‘dalit’ and
people from ‘backward
Hindu community. Fake

Jesus, money and ‘black
magic’ were used to
lure people to
Christianity. Local Hindu
organizations protested
the conversion racket
near the Hindu holy
centre of Ayodhya, the

Rama. They complained,
that missionaries get
substantial funds from
abroad. Poor Hindus are
converted with the lure
of money. The game will
go on until the source of
the funds is checked.
